Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience supporting 24x7 production operations, ideally within a highly available SaaS or cloud service environment.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and/or Azure.
  • Practical knowledge of security technologies and solutions such as SIRP, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and WAF.
  • Experience securing containerized applications, workloads, and container images.
  • Experience implementing and managing file integrity monitoring solutions.
  • Experience with release automation and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, along with system administration, configuration, and debugging.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and command execution or automation frameworks.
  • Willingness to work at least four overlapping hours with U.S. time zones.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and support production systems when required.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain operational security measures across a global, customer-facing SaaS infrastructure.
  • Design and implement file integrity monitoring (FIM) capabilities and automate the collection of audit and compliance evidence.
  • Develop, harden, and maintain secure base images used across the organization.
  • Secure containerized applications and infrastructure while helping engineering teams adopt secure deployment practices.
  • Build and improve security automation, tools, utilities, and operational processes across cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Services, Cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to securely introduce new features and services into production.
  • Support vulnerability and security misconfiguration remediation efforts and work with cybersecurity teams to meet defined SLAs.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and independently troubleshoot and resolve production security or infrastructure incidents.
