Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience supporting 24x7 production operations, ideally within a highly available SaaS or cloud service environment.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and/or Azure.
- Practical knowledge of security technologies and solutions such as SIRP, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and WAF.
- Experience securing containerized applications, workloads, and container images.
- Experience implementing and managing file integrity monitoring solutions.
- Experience with release automation and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, along with system administration, configuration, and debugging.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and command execution or automation frameworks.
- Willingness to work at least four overlapping hours with U.S. time zones.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and support production systems when required.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain operational security measures across a global, customer-facing SaaS infrastructure.
- Design and implement file integrity monitoring (FIM) capabilities and automate the collection of audit and compliance evidence.
- Develop, harden, and maintain secure base images used across the organization.
- Secure containerized applications and infrastructure while helping engineering teams adopt secure deployment practices.
- Build and improve security automation, tools, utilities, and operational processes across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Services, Cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to securely introduce new features and services into production.
- Support vulnerability and security misconfiguration remediation efforts and work with cybersecurity teams to meet defined SLAs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and independently troubleshoot and resolve production security or infrastructure incidents.
