Requirements
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent.
- Fluent English proficiency (B1 level).
- German language proficiency (B1 level).
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and team mentoring.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst (IOS/IOS-XE) systems.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Understanding of network documentation and quality assurance standards.
- Knowledge of CheckMK (nice to have).
- Lancom certification (LCSP) (nice to have).
- Knowledge of network automation tools such as Ansible and Python (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and coordinate tasks among Network Engineers in the Campus LAN area.
- Oversee operational responsibilities including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Cisco Catalyst (IOS/IOS-XE).
- Act as the technical lead for major incidents, including providing on-call support 24/7.
- Manage Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
- Handle Event and Availability Management using CheckMK, alongside oversight of Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management.
- Support compliance audits and Business Continuity Planning/Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR).
- Engage in network planning, design, and architecture tasks.
- Install, configure, and optimize network components and performance.
- Ensure quality assurance of configurations and document processes according to guidelines.
