Requirements
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent) certification.
- Strong experience with Cisco ASR/ISR routers.
- Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols.
- Proven leadership experience, especially managing nearshore teams.
- Fluent in English (minimum B1 level).
- Understanding of ITIL practices is a plus.
- Experience with Ansible/Python and CheckMK is a plus.
- Cisco SD-WAN Specialist certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in German is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the activities of Network Engineers in the Campus WAN area.
- Manage the operational aspects of network services, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Cisco ASR/ISR routers, using protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
- Act as Technical Lead for major incidents, with 24/7 on-call availability.
- Oversee Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
- Handle Event, Availability, Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management.
- Involve in network planning, design, architecture, installation, and configuration of components.
- Optimize network performance and ensure quality assurance of configurations.
- Document processes according to guidelines.
