Requirements
- At least three years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI functionality such as LLM, vision or speech APIs.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, particularly Coroutines and Flow.
- Familiarity with REST or gRPC APIs and structured data formats.
- Strong debugging and performance-profiling skills.
- Ability to build systems that must handle latency, partial failures and non-deterministic behavior.
- Experience with ML Kit or lightweight on-device inference.
- Experience shipping production applications through the Google Play Store.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production Android applications using Kotlin.
- Integrate AI-powered features, including chat, vision, voice and recommendations, through backend APIs.
- Design user experience patterns for AI interactions, including streaming responses, retries and partial results.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness and memory usage across AI-intensive workflows.
- Implement analytics, logging and feedback collection to support AI evaluation and continuous product improvement.
- Collaborate closely with backend and Machine Learning engineers on API contracts and system behavior.
- Ensure application stability, security and scalability in production environments.
