Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in AWS data landscape
- 10 years of experience designing and building complex data systems
- Proficiency in relational database design, optimization and migration
- Expertise in data modeling for transactional and analytics systems
- Experience with BI dashboards and visualizations, Data Governance, and MDM
- Proficiency in Big data processing using Spark, Streaming solutions, and NoSQL
- Experience in Machine Learning and MLOps with proficiency in Sagemaker
- Knowledge of GenAI Foundational Models and frameworks with proficiency in Bedrock
- Experience with DataOps practices including IaC, Data Testing, and Data Versioning
- Experience with at least two of the following: IaC tools, CI/CD pipelines, or Python for analytics/automation
- Strong drive towards standardizing and documenting approach and solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define strategic roadmaps and targeted outcomes for our clients in a consultative capacity
- Act as a data engineering SME to define upcoming engagements working with our pre-sales teams
- Perform technical interviews for Architect and Engineer candidates as well as provide technical guidance to Architects and Engineers
- Oversee the development and implementation of data standards and operating procedures
