Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in product or UX design.
- Demonstrated ability to own complex product experiences from discovery to shipped, adopted interface.
- Experience designing data-dense, workflow-heavy enterprise software including dashboards and data visualization.
- Strong visual craft with proficiency in layout, hierarchy, and typography.
- Expertise in information architecture and building reusable design systems.
- Strong prototyping skills using Figma or equivalent tools.
- US Citizenship required.
- Active US Top Secret security clearance required.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for program requirements.
- Experience with accessibility standards (Section 508 and WCAG).
- Self-sufficient in establishing design practices within a growing team.
- Strong ability to distill ambiguous problems into actionable, usable design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structured user research, including interviews, shadowing, and workflow observation.
- Develop current-state and future-state workflow maps to guide system design.
- Design interactive, high-fidelity prototypes for complex workspaces such as queues, dashboards, and enrichment panels.
- Create accessible interfaces adhering to Section 508 and WCAG standards.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to translate model outputs into explainable, trust-based user interfaces.
- Establish and refine design practices, including research habits, patterns, and development handoff processes.
- Review system builds against design requirements to ensure quality and usability.
