Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building billing platforms, ledgers, or accounting systems.
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or marketplaces with complex payment flows.
- Deep technical comfort working with engineering teams on architectural decisions.
- Ability to partner effectively with Finance, Accounting, and Compliance teams.
- Strong, clear communication skills across technical and operational audiences.
- Experience translating ledger reality into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define the billing state machine, enforced handoffs, and guardrails to automate appointment billing.
- Build trusted datasets, dashboards, and general-ledger/audit outputs for Finance and Accounting teams.
- Own the billing platform architecture, including ledger, reconciliation, and data-integrity systems.
- Partner with Data and Engineering to monitor payment/reconciliation health and drive systemic improvements.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Compliance to ensure financial reporting and audit readiness.
- Serve as the platform owner for dependent teams including Provider Payouts, Payer Collections, and Pricing.
