Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager.
- 5+ years of hands-on machine learning experience.
- 2+ years building agentic AI systems in production.
- Experience building or operating platforms used by multiple internal teams.
- Deep familiarity with orchestration, evaluation, observability, reliability, and cost challenges in AI/ML.
- Experience leading teams that build workflow, data, ML, or service platforms.
- Proficiency with Python, PostgreSQL or other relational databases, AWS, and distributed-system patterns.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and prioritize across multiple stakeholders.
- Track record of data-driven decision making.
- Willingness to travel to offsites, team syncs, and customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the AI Platform organization, setting the technical direction, operating model, and roadmap.
- Build the enrichments foundation, owning standard pipelines and shared services.
- Scale the agents runtime, including orchestration, state management, observability, and evaluation.
- Define platform standards, interfaces, and reusable primitives for product teams.
- Raise the quality bar by developing measurement, testing, and feedback-loop practices.
- Drive cross-functional execution with Product, Design, Mission, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
- Balance velocity and reliability while managing operational risks for mission-critical systems.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers and engineering leaders.
