Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited college or university in engineering (Civil or Electrical degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required.
- 6+ years of experience in transmission line design.
- Comprehensive knowledge of transmission line design concepts and principles.
- Required proficiency with PLS suite (PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE).
- Strong technical, communication, and computer skills.
- Demonstrated track record of external customer engagements and maintaining client relationships.
- Ability to travel (approx. 10%) for meetings, training, or business purposes.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the successful delivery of transmission line designs.
- Prepare specification packages and structural/fabrication drawings.
- Perform design and analysis of transmission lines and foundations.
- Conduct structural analysis for existing and proposed structures according to codes and standards.
- Perform electrical clearance checks and calculations.
- Implement effective engineering methods and provide technical guidance as a resource for the team.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Mentor junior staff and review their work products.
