Requirements
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in the FinTech space
- Deep proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets
- Hands on experience with efficient use of AI coding platforms
- Hands on experience developing, and maintaining high performance modern lakehouse architectures
- A humble and scrappy get-it-done mindset
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to independently lay out and test hypotheses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Build and optimize data solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, and AWS
- Develop high-quality, maintainable code using Python and data engineering best practices
- Collaborate with product teams and business stakeholders to understand the meaning of the data you are building for
- Create and maintain data models, data quality and monitoring processes
- Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing data infrastructure
- Troubleshoot data issues and implement solutions to ensure data accuracy and availability
