Requirements
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including significant experience hiring Research and ML talent.
- Proven experience hiring for roles such as Research Scientist, Research Engineer, or ML Infrastructure Engineer.
- Ability to confidently discuss LLM training, fine-tuning, inference, evaluations, and data pipelines.
- Capacity to interpret technical profiles beyond keywords and assess candidate significance in publications and open-source work.
- Deep understanding of where to source exceptional AI research talent beyond conventional channels.
- Experience recruiting across the US and European markets.
- Ability to act as a trusted talent advisor to technical hiring managers and leadership.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity as hiring priorities evolve.
- Fluency in English (C1+) both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment for AI Research, ML, data, evaluations, and ML infra roles.
- Partner closely with research leadership and CEO to define highly specialised candidate profiles.
- Source talent from AI labs, research organisations, technical startups, universities, open-source communities, and relevant scientific networks.
- Assess candidates by evaluating actual contributions, including publications, models, and datasets.
- Design structured hiring processes that assess research depth, engineering ability, originality, and real-world impact.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience for candidates navigating competitive opportunities.
- Track recruiting performance and continuously improve sourcing strategies and workflows.
