Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or applied research.
- Significant experience operating as a senior or principal-level individual contributor.
- Exceptional hands-on software engineering ability with complex technical systems.
- Demonstrated experience taking ambiguous technical ideas from hypothesis to working prototype.
- Direct experience building AI-enabled applications, including model integration, APIs, and orchestration.
- Strong working knowledge of LLM application architectures and agentic system design.
- Ability to move quickly in poorly defined problem spaces without extensive specifications.
- Strong software architecture fundamentals and ability to distinguish between prototypes and production systems.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Explore emerging AI technologies, including models, agent frameworks, and orchestration approaches relevant to cybersecurity missions.
- Build rapid technical prototypes to validate assumptions and expose limitations of new technologies.
- Establish reference architectures and implementation patterns to guide engineering teams.
- De-risk technology adoption by identifying performance, security, and scalability constraints early.
- Develop AI-enabled capabilities for vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development.
- Design and evaluate agentic systems, focusing on reliability and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Create reusable technical foundations such as libraries, patterns, and documentation for product teams.
- Transfer proven prototypes into secure, production-quality systems through partnership with engineering leadership.
- Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and customers.
