Requirements
- Associate's degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 7 years of CAD design experience
- Proficiency using 2D and 3D CAD software for equipment integration and system design
- Experience with conveyor layout design
- Experience supporting the design, fabrication, or integration of industrial equipment and systems
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel to client sites approximately 10-20% annually
Responsibilities
- Support engineers in the design and integration of packaging systems for industrial applications, primarily within the food and beverage industry
- Conduct field information gathering activities
- Develop and update 2D and 3D CAD layouts for packaging systems and equipment integration
- Create and maintain engineering drawing packages and associated documentation
- Coordinate drawing management activities and collaborate directly with clients
- Coordinate, delegate, and oversee the design efforts of team members and contract resources
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance within the packaging systems discipline
- Support equipment installations, startup activities, and field troubleshooting efforts
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
