Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Active Idaho Math Teaching Certificate.
- Ability to clear a background check.
- Experience working with middle school age groups preferred.
- Experience supporting users with technology preferred.
- Experience teaching in online or brick-and-mortar environments preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently at least 40 hours per week.
- Ability to travel for school functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
- Personalize learning for all students and demonstrate a belief in their ability to succeed.
- Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery.
- Maintain grade books, manage student placement, and monitor academic progress.
- Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with families through regular communication.
- Support learning coaches and parents with curricular issues and virtual platform troubleshooting.
- Travel as required for professional development and student testing (approximately 20% of the time).
