Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Georgia Secondary CTE Teaching Certificate
- Ability to clear required background check
- Experience working with middle school age group preferred
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology preferred
- Experience teaching in an online or brick-and-mortar environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively to interpret student data and drive instructional decisions
- Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms
Responsibilities
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students
- Commit to personalizing learning for all students
- Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery
- Maintain grade book and make student placement and promotion decisions
- Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with families and learning coaches
- Travel as required, approximately once per month or 20% of the time, for school functions
