Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development with increasing levels of responsibility.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- DoD 8140 certification.
- Proven track record as a technical lead or subject matter expert in complex software projects is highly desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is desired.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, coding, testing, and implementation of software applications and solutions.
- Apply advanced knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and tools to develop efficient and reliable software.
- Establish and enforce best practices in coding standards, code reviews, and quality assurance.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Advise leadership, program managers, and stakeholders on technical strategies, risks, and solutions.
- Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to junior developers and engineers.
- Work closely with systems engineers, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration across environments.
- Contribute to system architecture, ensuring software aligns with enterprise or mission objectives.
- Optimize applications for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver high-quality products.
