Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating systems and Active Directory
- Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure (physical and virtual)
- Strong experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure)
- Experience working in a SOX-regulated company
- Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Experience with patch deployment
- Minimum AA degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work with a project-oriented approach for deliverables
- Work schedule flexibility for after-hours work
- Self-sufficient, self-managed, and effective working independently
Responsibilities
- Design, build and support corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony and systems
- Implement observable, secure and fault-tolerant solutions
- Provide technical leadership, support and direction across multiple teams and domains
- Serve as an internal escalation point for day to day operations
- Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape
- Lead and participate in infrastructure and systems and application projects
- Perform device lifecycle support including vulnerability remediation, firmware upgrades, and decommissioning
- Mentor less senior staff
- Manage vendors for hardware, software, and service troubleshooting
- Define and execute infrastructure strategy for remote, manufacturing, and office-based workforces
