Job Details

Proven experience implementing protocols straight from specifications (e.g., DICOM, HL7).
Experience running software in infrastructure without direct access (SSH), relying on external logs/packet captures.
Deep understanding of networking, memory management, and debugging protocols.
Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and pytest.
Experience with DICOM PS3.15/PS3.18, DICOMweb STOW-RS, and HL7 v2 over MLLP.
Experience with AWS services (S3, SQS, ECS/Fargate, WAF, ALB, Secrets Manager) and Terraform.
Experience managing Docker containers in locked-down environments.
Ability to write precise, honest documentation for IT reviewers regarding system behavior.
Prior experience in healthcare, PACS, VNA, or teleradiology systems is helpful.
Background in networking, embedded systems, or regulated environments is a plus.
Experience with privacy engineering or hardware attestation is a plus.

Manage on-premise ingest service for study assembly, backpressure, and disk spooling.
Develop and maintain DICOMweb STOW-RS cloud ingest with streaming multipart parsing.
Configure tenancy, DICOM PS3.15 de-identification, and encryption at the boundary.
Implement outbound integrations using JSON callbacks and HL7 v2 ORU^R01 over MLLP.
Ensure per-study tracing, system health monitoring, and CI/CD for gateway repositories.
Provide technical documentation and responses for hospital IT security reviews.
Conduct outside-in debugging using packet captures, memory profiles, and protocol specifications.
