Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Workday.
- Workday FIN Core certification is required.
- Strong understanding of Workday Financial Management and at least one relevant FIN functional area.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing complex Workday FIN reports.
- Experience gathering business requirements, translating them into functional solutions, and preparing functional design specifications.
- Familiarity with Workday integrations and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical integration teams.
- Experience participating in end-to-end testing and validating Workday solutions against business requirements.
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in customer-facing environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage priorities independently, and collaborate across distributed teams.
- A proactive, adaptable attitude with a willingness to stay current with evolving Workday capabilities and enterprise technology trends.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and, where appropriate, lead Workday Financial Management projects, contributing functional expertise throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and support successful implementation.
- Conduct discovery and design sessions with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to understand business needs and develop appropriate functional solutions.
- Configure and support Workday FIN functionality while applying a strong understanding of relevant financial processes and business requirements.
- Design and develop complex Workday FIN reports that provide meaningful business insights and support decision-making.
- Prepare clear functional designs, specifications, and supporting documentation for Workday solutions.
- Collaborate with integration teams to support the design and development of Workday integrations across different business requirements.
- Perform end-to-end testing of functional solutions, identify issues, and work with relevant teams to ensure successful resolution.
- Engage directly with third-party vendors and other stakeholders when required to support discovery, design, testing, and delivery activities.
- Stay current with Workday developments, emerging capabilities, and industry trends to continuously improve solution quality and consulting outcomes.
