Requirements
- Hands-on experience securing production AWS environments.
- Proficiency with AWS core security services: GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, and CloudTrail.
- Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure services: VPC networking, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and EKS.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience with the full lifecycle of security incident response.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash) for automation.
- Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10 web application vulnerabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for efficiency and decision-making.
- Ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts from AWS infrastructure, logs, and security tools like WAF and SIEM.
- Respond to security incidents including data breaches, application-layer attacks, and infrastructure compromises.
- Triage vulnerabilities from bug bounty programs and external sources.
- Build and maintain security monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Automate security operations tasks using Python, Go, or Bash.
- Configure and manage security tools such as WAF, AWS GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
- Operationalize SAST, DAST, and SCA findings through collaboration with engineering teams.
- Conduct threat modeling for new features to mitigate risks pre-production.
