Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot
- Experience with IBM webMethods or comparable middleware
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services
- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git/GitHub
- Understanding of enterprise API development and microservices architecture
- Ability to perform production support and troubleshooting
- Experience with application modernization
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Implement application-layer technical currency and supportability changes
- Execute JDK/runtime upgrades, library and dependency remediation, and certificate renewals
- Apply secure coding fixes and configuration baselines
- Maintain dependency inventories and update credentials/secret dependencies
- Develop schema and interface changes for middleware applications
- Support deployments and production activities through occasional onsite presence
- Collaborate on rollback planning and technical documentation
