Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Azure components (Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, Managed Instances, Storage, VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute/VPN, Azure AD).
- Experience with Azure migration tools: Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and Database Migration Service.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, governance, and compliance.
- Proficiency in automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI).
- Solid understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
- Development experience using at least one framework, preferably .NET.
- Mandatory fluency in both Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
- Ability to analyze infrastructure, performance bottlenecks, and migration-related issues.
- Preferred: Azure certifications (AZ-104 or AZ-305).
- Preferred: Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
- Preferred: Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Preferred: Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.
Responsibilities
- Assess existing on-premises infrastructure, applications, and databases to define migration approaches.
- Conduct discovery and dependency analysis across services and data assets.
- Define and implement migration strategies including lift & shift, refactoring, re-architecting, or rebuilding.
- Design target Azure architectures encompassing networking, security, compute, storage, and disaster recovery.
- Utilize Microsoft migration tools (e.g., Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Database Migration Service).
- Develop and maintain automation and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
- Manage cutover activities, data synchronization, and downtime minimization.
- Monitor performance, optimize costs, and ensure security and stability post-migration.
- Document project phases, runbooks, and rollback strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
