Requirements
- Advanced Python and SQL proficiency.
- Experience with data processing and distributed high-load systems.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Ability to perform basic exploratory data analysis to inform technical decisions.
- Proactive ownership of projects and technical excellence.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with system architecture documentation.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium, Pandas, Numpy, and Scikit-learn.
Responsibilities
- Implement new scrapers and maintain existing ones.
- Improve the scraping platform in the areas of data quality, performance, and observability.
- Carry out research and technical investigations.
- Take ownership of architectural or conceptual components of the platform, such as reliability, QA, or AI scrapers.
- Contribute to reducing overall codebase complexity and removing technical debt.
- Perform code reviews and participate in technical initiatives.
