Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in consulting, strategic analytics, performance improvement, revenue cycle analytics, value engineering, or business intelligence.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, including patient billing workflows and collections performance.
  • Experience using data to diagnose business performance, develop recommendations, and present to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical toolkit with experience working with large datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead ambiguous, high-stakes analytical work.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a client-facing or consultative environment.
  • Track record of improving processes, frameworks, or ways of working.
  • Familiarity with EHR and billing data ecosystems preferred.
  • Experience building dashboards in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Omni.
  • Exposure to data modeling, dbt, or analytics engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the most strategic and complex performance improvement analyses across Cedar’s products and client base, identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into clear, persuasive value stories for senior internal leaders, prospective clients, and existing clients.
  • Own high-priority workstreams tied to Cedar’s roadmap and market differentiation by quantifying value and framing business cases.
  • Conduct and oversee ROI modeling, collections lift analysis, benchmarking, trend analysis, and performance deep dives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Client Management, Product, Data Science, and Data Platform teams to scope analyses and validate findings.
  • Shape analytical approaches, playbooks, and frameworks to make Value Analytics more scalable, consistent, and proactive.
  • Serve as a senior thought partner on ambiguous, high-visibility client and internal questions.
  • Mentor teammates through project guidance and analytical feedback.
