Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Track record of building scalable data systems in cloud environments.
- Experience with modern data stacks including Snowflake, AWS, and dbt.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data including claims, EMR, and patient-generated health data.
- Experience working with actuarial teams or value-based care leaders to model risk and evaluate performance.
- Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
- Systems-thinking mindset to design scalable solutions.
- Mission-driven approach to improving the healthcare system.
Responsibilities
- Support the deployment of scalable infrastructure and tooling (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Sigma) to support analytics, reporting, and real-time data exchange.
- Drive high-impact analyses across claims, EHR, and real-time patient activity data.
- Build and scale robust data pipelines and governance practices to ensure data integrity, availability, and compliance.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and external teams to prioritize data initiatives.
- Develop and maintain real-time analytics capabilities to monitor key metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering and other teams to integrate analytics into production systems.
- Align data infrastructure to be flexible in organization’s strategic priorities.
- Augment analytics processes with AI use cases.
