Requirements
- 10+ years of project development experience, 10-15 years preferred.
- Deep knowledge of the ERCOT market.
- Intimate knowledge of the ERCOT transmission system and grid analysis.
- Experience with solar siting and land acquisition.
- Strong understanding of Federal, State, and Local project permitting.
- Experience with the interconnection study process and LGIA finalization.
- Technical understanding of solar and energy storage projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading PPA negotiations and customer relationship management.
- Experience managing consultants and project budgets.
- Experience leading teams to promote collaboration and accountability.
- BS/BA required, MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage Origis’ Central Region, which includes ERCOT and SPP.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute annual goals for existing projects and new site development.
- Work with land and transmission teams to acquire new projects and process interconnection applications.
- Lead and manage all aspects of project permitting through to LGIA Execution.
- Evaluate transmission grids and land constraints to secure project sites.
- Manage project teams and consultants for risk analysis and development stage permitting.
- Lead or support PPA negotiations and manage customer relationships.
- Organize and share development documentation with Investment, Finance, and Construction teams.
- Manage vendors and project budgets using SAP.
