Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience delivering technical healthcare system implementations, preferably in payer or health plan environments.
- 3+ years of experience working with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping and analysis.
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including X12, FHIR, HL7, and related patterns.
- Hands-on experience with healthcare transactions (834, 837, 835, 270/271, 278).
- Knowledge of healthcare coding standards including LOINC, SNOMED, and ICD-10.
- Proficiency with data formats like JSON, XML, HL7, X12, and CSV.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, and Oracle.
- Experience implementing solutions on AWS or Azure using CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or Terraform.
- Working knowledge of Java-based enterprise applications and SOAP/REST web services.
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.
Responsibilities
- Implement and configure healthcare applications across cloud environments including AWS and Azure.
- Manage integrations between enterprise solutions and client on-premise systems.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical configurations, workflows, and implementation plans.
- Develop, test, and validate healthcare data integrations using standards like EDI X12, FHIR, HL7, REST APIs, and SOAP.
- Create mapping specifications, perform data validation, and support ETL processes.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and validate system configurations during SIT and UAT.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot technical issues involving databases, networks, and integrations.
- Develop training materials and support knowledge transfer to clients.
