Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Development, or related areas.
- Experience with functional testing of web applications.
- Experience working in agile software development environments.
- Knowledge of software testing concepts, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of web applications, including front-end and back-end concepts.
- Basic understanding of Java to interpret business rules and identify potential issues.
- Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar technologies.
Responsibilities
- Create test scenarios and functional test plans based on requirement analysis and technical discussions.
- Execute manual tests, including database manipulation for test data creation and validation.
- Register, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, and observed behavior.
- Perform interface testing, validating functionality, usability, responsiveness, and browser compatibility.
- Execute basic REST API testing, validating responses, payloads, and business rules.
- Support requirement reviews and acceptance criteria analysis to ensure appropriate test coverage.
- Maintain and update test cases according to product evolution and new functionalities.
- Collaborate with developers and QA professionals to validate implementations and improve delivery quality.
