Requirements

  • Prior experience in high-volume call centers or customer service roles.
  • Strong preference for experience in funeral assistant, medical, veterinary technician, or hospice environments.
  • Reliable wired Ethernet internet connection (satellite and 4G/5G hotspots not supported).
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Maps).
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate scheduling and phone systems.
  • Experience using Zoom and internal communication tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and available for scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to attend and complete a mandatory 2-week paid training program at the start of employment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer work continuously.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Guide families through emotional conversations regarding in-home euthanasia, hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life concerns, and behavioral emergencies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through empathetic interactions.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a remote, work-from-home environment.
  • Collect and document pet, family, and medical information accurately.
  • Schedule appointments using internal platforms.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and leadership to ensure family support.
