Requirements
- Prior experience in high-volume call centers or customer service roles.
- Strong preference for experience in funeral assistant, medical, veterinary technician, or hospice environments.
- Reliable wired Ethernet internet connection (satellite and 4G/5G hotspots not supported).
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Maps).
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate scheduling and phone systems.
- Experience using Zoom and internal communication tools.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and available for scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to attend and complete a mandatory 2-week paid training program at the start of employment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer work continuously.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Guide families through emotional conversations regarding in-home euthanasia, hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life concerns, and behavioral emergencies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through empathetic interactions.
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a remote, work-from-home environment.
- Collect and document pet, family, and medical information accurately.
- Schedule appointments using internal platforms.
- Meet productivity, quality, and performance expectations.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and leadership to ensure family support.
