Requirements
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a compelling narrative about an alternative path.
- Extensive embedded Linux experience (Yocto or other).
- Extensive Linux experience (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
- Proven ability to manage a small team.
- Prior experience with customer engagements.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
- Result-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments.
- Ability to communicate the business benefits of technology.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Field engineers ranging from graduate to senior levels.
- Plan and drive progress on agreed goals and projects.
- Partner with the leadership team to align on strategy and execution.
- Develop and champion engineering excellence and organizational practices.
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to team members.
- Solve customer problems by promoting technologies and serving as a trusted advisor.
- Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Provide market feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
