Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, in the space, engineering or other high-technology environments.
  • Proven experience delivering grant-funded and/or commercial projects, preferably in the space sector.
  • Experience delivering projects for institutional, public, or international clients (ESA, EDF, EU-funded programs or similar strongly preferred).
  • MSc or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Space / Aerospace or a related STEM field.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, hybrid or classical project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and documentation skills.
  • Fluent English (minimum C1).
  • Ability to work effectively within formal review processes and structured change management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive project delivery across multiple parallel projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver grant-funded and commercial projects end-to-end, from project kick-off to closure and handover.
  • Lead implementation and operational projects funded by ESA, EU SST and the European Commission, as well as commercial customers.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, quality and stakeholder expectations across the full project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with grant and contractual requirements, including project documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, dependencies and changes.
  • Support project proposal preparation by defining work packages, timelines and execution approach.
  • Contribute to PMO best practices and continuous process improvement.
