Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Information Systems Management, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience utilizing GIS technology in a multi-user environment.
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS (ArcMap) and/or ArcGIS Pro.
- Knowledge of GPS receivers, field data collection techniques, and signalization.
- Knowledge of data entry principles and georeferencing from aerial imagery.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Valid state driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- English language fluency.
Responsibilities
- Enter spatial data using GIS workflows, coordinate geometry, and georeferencing techniques.
- Georeference design plans, surveys, and historic maps into GIS databases.
- Produce custom maps, exhibits, and sketches using ESRI ArcGIS software.
- Perform ArcGIS spatial analysis to generate reports and project deliverables.
- Maintain GIS data libraries, feature codes, and static utility networks.
- Review data for quality control and assist with construction inspections or utility locates.
- Represent the company at client meetings and stakeholder engagements.
