Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 3PL or relevant Transportation industry experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or a related field.
- Excellent financial modeling skills and deep understanding of financial statements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex financial concepts.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and detail-oriented work.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across the organization through strategic action planning.
Responsibilities
- Analyze transportation initiatives monthly and communicate key performance drivers and variances to senior management.
- Collaborate with partners to report on weekly performance and provide outlooks on ship costs and margins.
- Manage relationships with the Transportation team to build bottoms-up forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop and implement models and processes for new strategic transportation initiatives.
- Prepare annual operating plans and convert them into financial budgets in coordination with the Transportation team.
- Create monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board.
- Analyze operational business metrics and develop margin analysis for business partners.
