Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
  • Current and unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Active California furnishing number, National Provider Identifier (NPI), and DEA registration.
  • Active national and state board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP, or NCC).
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare management and leadership experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, SharePoint).
  • Skilled in Adobe, Practice Fusion, and PeopleSoft/Student Information Systems.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% across clinic locations.
  • Doctoral degree in healthcare or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in grants management or federal grant programs (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful completion of grant-funded activities following HRSA guidelines.
  • Manage daily clinic operations, patient appointment systems, and provider calendars.
  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners and community health coordinators.
  • Monitor remote telemetric patient biometric data and manage Practice Fusion EHR.
  • Collaborate with faculty and external partners to support student training and care delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce clinic policies and workflow improvements.
  • Assist with federal grant reporting, budget monitoring, and outcome assessment.
