Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA or test automation using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- 3+ years of web UI test automation using a page object model (Playwright preferred).
- 2+ years of BDD test authoring with Cucumber and Gherkin.
- 2+ years of end-to-end QA ownership including test design and maintenance.
- 3+ years of requirements analysis and stakeholder communication.
- 2+ years of SQL querying experience using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- 3+ years of experience with exploratory testing and defect reproduction.
- Ability to work autonomously and own the build process with minimal direction.
- Strong attention to detail for identifying edge cases and specification gaps.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a robust automated testing framework for a multi-repository system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and document expected system behavior.
- Author test scenarios in Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Build automation tests using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Implement UI testing using a page object model and update React code with data-test-ids.
- Validate database state using SQL queries.
- Perform exploratory testing and reproduce multi-step defects to improve platform reliability.
- Flag potential compliance, security, and regulatory implications.
