Requirements
- Strong coding skills and operational experience with software you have built.
- Experience working on SaaS platforms.
- Deep understanding of common distributed systems problems such as scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work across teams and align with the needs of other squads and external stakeholders.
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, prioritizing progress over perfection.
- Experience handling ambiguity.
- Familiarity with Golang or willingness to learn it.
Responsibilities
- Code new features, enhance the operational experience of systems, and iteratively improve them based on production insights.
- Author, contribute to, and review design documents.
- Take an active role in shaping the roadmap.
- Mentor and support other team members and collaborate with different teams across the organization.
- Own the experience of our customers by participating in weekday 12h x 5d and a separate weekend 24h x 2d on-call rotations.
