Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a medical or insurance field, with heavy involvement in bill review processing.
- 3+ years of supervisory, management, or project management experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CMS guidelines and ICD-10 coding guidelines.
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle, claims reimbursement, and DRG validation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Windows OS.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- High School Diploma or higher education level.
Responsibilities
- Manage team performance by setting standards, monitoring deadlines, and providing feedback.
- Prioritize daily work assignments to ensure accurate processing of internal and external claims.
- Resolve customer complaints, bill review disputes, and escalated requests from leadership.
- Analyze revenue cycle transactions and perform trend analysis to ensure data integrity.
- Produce evaluative and statistical reports detailing variances in revenue cycle data.
- Lead initiatives as assigned, coordinating task teams to deliver results.
- Facilitate associate orientation and document performance issues to support leadership.
