Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in a mature engineering team.
- Strong technical expertise in at least one programming language (Kotlin or Ruby preferred).
- Experience working with relational databases (Postgres preferred).
- Proven track record of making a demonstrable impact in previous roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, driven approach to work.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for code quality.
- Degree in a STEM subject is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and push through technical hurdles.
Responsibilities
- Design technical solutions to business problems while contributing to architectural vision.
- Develop and maintain microservices using Kotlin and Postgres, with some legacy Ruby on Rails support.
- Release features frequently using CircleCI and Spinnaker for CI/CD.
- Monitor services, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes to maintain system health.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and designers.
