Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern frameworks like NestJS.
- Excellent system design skills and understanding of distributed systems and RESTful API design.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure acceptable).
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration/IaC (Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm).
- Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), NoSQL (e.g., Redis), and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a B2C startup that has scaled to millions of users (Huge Plus).
- Basic proficiency in Go.
- Hands-on experience with React for internal tools or basic UI features (Huge Plus).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js (NestJS).
- Propose and implement architectural improvements and design features for long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Champion high code quality and mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve reliability issues.
- Collaborate with DevOps to manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure.
- Translate product requirements into technical specifications and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
