Requirements
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Active license to practice law in the State of California
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience
- Strong background in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Experience handling insurance defense matters
- Experience with time management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision
- Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Collaborate as part of a team across all experience levels
- Maintain routine communication with clients
- Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys
