Requirements
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Active bar license in the State of New Mexico
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience
- Experience with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Experience handling insurance defense matters
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with time management systems
- Ability to act independently with minimal supervision
- Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes for trial defense
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Collaborate with legal teams of all experience levels
- Maintain routine communication with clients
- Cultivate relationships with existing and future firm clients
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys
