Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices
- Proven ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and POCs that prove business value
- Strong technical communication skills to explain complex concepts to engineers and decision-makers
- Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
- Problem-solving instinct to diagnose and resolve technical challenges
- Experience in a pre-sales or Sales Engineering capacity at a B2B SaaS company (preferred)
- Active contributions to OpenTelemetry or the broader observability ecosystem (preferred)
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot (preferred)
- Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies
- Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, performant Dash0 implementations
- Develop and execute Proofs of Concept that highlight Dash0's differentiated technical capabilities
- Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations tailored to engineering and executive audiences
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the technical solution of choice
- Provide architecture guidance on observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design
- Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates
- Contribute to technical content — blog posts, conference talks, and documentation that drive community engagement
