Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI engineering, machine learning engineering, or AI platform development.
- Proven experience building and deploying AI-enabled applications or services in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and REST API development.
- Experience designing AI/ML services using cloud platforms like Azure and working with vector databases.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into customer-facing web or SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of scalable SaaS architectures, API integration patterns, and AI orchestration workflows.
- Understanding of relational databases and secure data access concepts.
- Strong analytical, systems-thinking, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reusable AI platform services including APIs, orchestration, RAG pipelines, prompt management, and vector search capabilities.
- Implement AI-driven features for customer-facing SaaS applications, such as conversational interfaces, predictive insights, and automated workflows.
- Develop and maintain a centralized AI Service Layer to standardize model access, security, logging, and governance.
- Partner with data and enterprise systems teams to normalize and secure data for AI and analytics workloads.
- Support multi-tenant SaaS deployment models, including database isolation, deployment automation, and scalable architecture practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI integration standards and identify opportunities for intelligent automation.
