Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8–12+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading architecture and technical design across multiple systems or teams.
- Experience building scalable applications, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native solutions.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and influencing engineering standards.
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization, resiliency, security, and systems design.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and build alignment among teams without formal authority.
- Experience with AWS and modern cloud technologies is preferred.
- Experience supporting platform modernization initiatives is preferred.
- Experience leading large-scale engineering initiatives across multiple teams is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design efforts for complex applications, services, and platform capabilities.
- Drive technical decision-making and establish scalable, maintainable, and secure architecture patterns across multiple teams.
- Lead the development of reusable platform services and drive cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven modernization initiatives.
- Establish engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and DevOps.
- Mentor software engineers and provide technical coaching to elevate capabilities across the organization.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Management, Design, Architecture, and Security to align technical solutions with business objectives.
