Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep specialization in test automation or equivalent experience as a Senior/Staff/Lead SDET.
- Demonstrated track record of architecting a testing practice from early stage to mature.
- Expertise in modern end-to-end frameworks, specifically Playwright.
- Strong experience with API and contract testing, including mocking and stubbing.
- Experience designing and running performance and load testing programs (e.g., k6, JMeter).
- Hands-on experience applying AI to testing workflows and modern AI coding tools.
- Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD, Kubernetes).
- Working knowledge of .NET and Next.js ecosystems.
- Expertise in accessibility (WCAG) and usability testing.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical coverage and risk to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the multi-year evolution of the automated testing practice toward AI-augmented capability.
- Choose and implement tools for the test pyramid including UI, API, contract, integration, and performance testing.
- Design and own CI/CD test integration using ArgoCD to ensure release quality and fast feedback.
- Develop and maintain test suites, fixtures, and harnesses for flagship .NET and Next.js applications.
- Apply AI-assisted test authoring and maintenance to scale testing efficiency across the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality as a core component of agile development.
- Mentor team members through code reviews and hands-on guidance on testing best practices.
