Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of related experience in Snowflake, CTRL-M, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) on Linux.
- Experience with cloud computing and data warehousing on relational platforms.
- Solid understanding of OLAP/dimensional modeling and RDBMS fundamentals.
- Knowledge of semi/unstructured data formats like JSON and Parquet.
- Experience with API integrations and open-source ELT/ETL tooling.
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines for data deployments.
- Experience building and managing data ingestion pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Automate and monitor batch/streaming ELT/ETL pipelines across cloud services and Snowflake.
- Triage failures, perform root-cause analyses, and reduce MTTR.
- Orchestrate schedules and dependencies using tools like Ctrl-M and manage connectors in Fivetran/HVR.
- Build operational automation using SQL, Python, and shell scripts on Linux.
- Implement logging, alerting, data-quality checks, and runbooks.
- Optimize Snowflake warehouses and caching for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Enforce access controls, secrets management, and support compliance audits.
- Document procedures and provide rotational on-call support.
