Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing highly available, high-scale, mission-critical cloud-native enterprise distributed systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Java or Go.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS ecosystems (Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, Kafka).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure, microservices patterns, and resilient systems.
  • Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor) for software delivery.
  • Experience building and maintaining high-volume public-facing APIs.
  • Experience with high-throughput data processing and storage solutions (SQL/NoSQL, Redis, Kafka, or Spark).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD paradigms.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions through strong communication.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to technical design and roadmap for platform components by authoring RFCs and design documents.
  • Leverage AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Claude to automate tasks and improve code quality.
  • Drive end-to-end component ownership, balancing rapid feature delivery with system reliability and technical debt reduction.
  • Partner with Product Managers to translate regulatory and customer requirements into technical specifications and APIs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead team initiatives through code reviews and technical guidance.
  • Manage on-call duties, resolve incidents, and drive root-cause remediation for production services.
