Job Details

3+ years of demonstrated experience in nonprofit fundraising, especially in an agile and dynamic workplace culture.
Demonstrated writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
Demonstrated understanding of Harlem Lacrosse’s collaborative national model.
Basic knowledge of CiviCRM and other donor management systems.
Basic knowledge of Trello and other project management systems.
Strong communication, project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Commitment to racial and gender equity.
Passion for supporting systematically disenfranchised youth, preferably in mentoring, education, or sports-based youth development.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Ability to perform morning, evening, and weekend work as required.
Ability to travel locally and regionally, including occasional overnight travel.

Analyze donor participation and drive engagement using tools like DonorSearch, LinkedIn, and CiviCRM.
Manage donor portfolios by communicating with donors and conducting pipeline analysis.
Perform prospect research and write donor profiles for portfolio owners.
Deliver on a portfolio of donors including scholarship programs and small grants.
Support Associate Boards across all five regions and nationally.
Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure accurate donation tracking and donor data.
Update prospect and campaign information in Trello and CiviCRM.
Prepare donor correspondence including letters, reports, and invoices.
Track and share portfolio analytics and performance metrics.
Provide staffing support for national fundraising events.
