Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience leading the design and delivery of large-scale software systems in a senior or staff-level engineering capacity.
- Strong programming expertise in one or more modern languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience building web applications, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and version control systems such as Git.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and successfully lead cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of complex, scalable software solutions while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive architectural discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and implement innovative solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and long-term platform evolution.
- Develop reusable frameworks, tools, and engineering best practices that increase developer productivity and simplify software delivery across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and successfully deliver strategic initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and guidance to senior engineers while promoting engineering excellence throughout the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes, testing strategies, and engineering workflows while introducing modern technologies and best practices where appropriate.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives, align stakeholders around architectural decisions, and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
