Requirements
- 1-2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building or operating backend services using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes operations such as deployments, pods, and services.
- Experience or strong desire to learn AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code).
- Exposure to GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Harness).
- Working knowledge of at least one of Shell, Terraform, YAML, or Go.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS core services or Azure equivalents).
- Basic familiarity with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Foundational understanding of distributed datastores, caching layers, or event streaming.
- Solid computer science fundamentals and data structures knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate services and automations that support Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Work with product management and technical leadership to turn well-scoped tasks into working code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established unit and integration testing patterns.
- Support cloud configurations across AWS and Azure environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Maintain observability coverage including metrics, alerts, and distributed tracing.
- Identify and flag technical debt, bugs, and system issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and participate in sprint planning.
